Cousins Create is a songwriting workshop developed by LA based indie/folk band, Distant Cousins. The mission of the workshop is for each group to collaborate and create their own song [in one session!] and to be involved in the entire process; from writing through recording.

Participants will learn from the band's experience in writing and producing music for film & television, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers and colleagues while tapping into their own creativity.  The band has worked with a wide array of groups from around the world, with schools, camps, corporations and organizations. Anyone can do this!

You don’t have to be a musician to be a rockstar!   

We had an absolutely incredible experience working with Distant Cousins to create our company theme song. I must admit, I was very skeptical when they said they could get our team of 300 employees from all different backgrounds to come together and open up, but it all worked seamlessly.  We got such awesome feedback from our employees. People loved the creative and out-of-the box company event, and they loved the final product even more. It was truly a pleasure to work with the group through each phase of the process and I cannot recommend this experience enough.
